Yorkshire’s county season may be faltering a touch on the field this season, but there are a number of reasons to be bowled over by their efforts off it.
The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation has done a wide range of work within local communities since it was established nearly two decades ago, and now it is set to enter an exciting new era with the inception of the Yorkshire Cricket College, to be based at the club’s state of the art Indoor School.
The college, which will focus on education ahead of sport, is set to open its doors in September and is the first of its kind in county cricket.
The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation are welcoming applications from boys and girls of all abilities.
