The hall, which was last lived in in 1965, has been in a deteriorating condition ever since, prompting campaigners to call for local authorities to fund repairs for the storied structure.
Helen Kirk from the Yorkshire Buildings Preservation Trust and Amy Popham from SAVE Britain’s Heritage emphasised the importance of these events to ensure that listed buildings with rich histories remain in the public eye.
