How Wakefield is helping with Falcon conservation

Wakefield has a longstanding history helping with Peregrine Falcon conservation.

A ledge on top of the cathedral has been converted to give the falcons the best chance of a successful breeding program.

In 2026 though, the program is more successful than expected.

Malcolm Ring has the full report.
