THE SECOND round of the EFL trophy commences tonight at 7:30pm with Bradford hosting League One rivals Oldham Athletic.
Stuart McCall will be looking to build on the 3-1 win last Saturday against Plymouth in the FA Cup at home where the Bantams form has dipped this season.
Bradford can be reassured when looking at visitors Oldham Athletic’s recent form were they have failed to score in the last three games.
But McCall’s side will have to look to keep in-form Irish striker Eoin Doyle quiet who has scored 10 goals in 11 games.
Both managers are set to rotate their sides for this feature with the likes of Shay McCartan, Adam Thompson and ex-Oldham striker Dominic Poleon likely to feature for the Bantams.
For the visitors Anthony Gerrard is likely to return after serving his suspension and ex-Everton youth product Courtney Duffus could be making an appearance after being out with an injury.
Oldham Athletic have failed to win at Valley Parade since April 2014 and the two most recent fixtures at home resulting in two 1-1 draws so tonight’s game could be set for penalties.
