Flags Fly over Bradford for Queen’s 91st Birthday.

Flags were flying over Bradford City Hall and on buildings across Yorkshire this morning as the country celebrates the Queen’s ninety first birthday.

The relatively low key celebrations mark the day of Queen Elizabeth II’s birth unlike her ‘official birthday’ which is in the summer and coincides with the trooping of the colour and other more public events.

The Queen is both the world’s oldest and longest reigning monarch.

The Queen has no formal engagements planned for today but artillery gun salutes will take place in London’s Hyde Park and the Tower of London.

We hit the streets of Bradford to see whether people would be celebrating.
