Huddersfield Town winger Danel Sinani is aiming to keep up his strong recent run of form for Carlos Corberan’s men.
The 24-year-old Luxembourg international is currently on loan at Town from Premier League side Norwich City and has netted three times in his last six league outings for the Terriers.
The winger arrived on loan at the John Smith’s Stadium at the beginning of the 2021/22 campaign and has contributed five goals and two assists in all competitions so far.
Sinani is aiming to keep helping the team in their promotion push by chipping in with goals and assists and he also spoke about how he is finding playing in England’s second-tier.
He added: “If you are an offensive player, you are always wanting to help your team-mates, create chances, and to help your team win games.
“For me, of course, it is important to score and obviously, to assist.
“In the last games, I was lucky to contribute in those games and wins and I hope it goes on like this.
“This league is one that demands a lot from individual players and it is very physical and tough.
“The intensity of every game is high and you cannot go into any game at only 50/60%. It is impossible and you will lose every individual challenge.
“Over here, any team can win against anybody but in Belgium, it was clear who was going to be up there and for me, that is the main difference.
“I feel as though I am doing well so far by helping the team and doing my best on the pitch.”
Sinani also touched on Town’s upcoming game at home to Stoke City in the Championship.
Huddersfield have failed to beat the Potters in their last four meetings and that is a run they will be hoping to put right on Friday evening.
They will also be hoping to extend their unbeaten run to 10 matches in all competitions.
He insists that his side are playing with plenty of confidence at the moment but is still expecting a tough test from the West Midlands outfit.
He added: “It will be a difficult game for both. We all know that Stoke have a great team.
“A lot of people say that they are also playing to get promoted to the Premier League but right now, they are not doing as well.
“We are on a good run and that will help us for tomorrow’s game because we are full of confidence right and try to win every game.
“They are struggling a little bit but nevertheless, they are still trying to get points and get confidence in their team.
“At the moment, we are on a good run but there are still plenty of games to play.
“There are no easy games and we just need to focus on the one tomorrow and see what happens.”
