Leeds road closures for half marathon

Areas in and around Leeds will experience road closures this Sunday 12 May in preparation for the Leeds Half Marathon.

The marathon attracts thousands over 7,500 participants and raises thousands for charity.

The race will begin at The Headrow and circuit around Leeds towards Meanwood, Kirkstall Abbey and back into Leeds city centre.

We have provided a list of places that are facing road closures:

A660 Otley Road – 8:30-12:15

A6120 Ring Road – 8:30-12:15

Alexander Street – 04:00-13:15

Belgrave Street – 08:30-10:45

Bentley Lane – 08:30-11:15

Bridge Road – 08:30-12:45

Butcher Hill – 08:30-12:15

Clay Pit Lane (outbound) – 08:30-11:00

Cookridge Street – 04:00-15:00

Cross Belgrave Street – 08:30-10:45

East Parade – 04:00-13:45

Great George Street – 04:00-14:00

Hawksworth Road – 08:30-12:30

The Headrow between Cookridge Street / Park Row and Briggate – 08:30-10:45
