Injury time equaliser rescues QPR in relegation battle with Huddersfield

An 86th minute goal from Rudoni for Huddersfield, gave Darren Moore a much needed win or so they thought as in the 93rd minute as Illias Chair rescued a point for QPR

22nd took on 21st on Sunday  in the championship at Loftus Road in a massive game for both QPR and Huddersfield, with massive pressure mounting on Darren Moore at Huddersfield. With teams around them in Fa Cup action, this was a must win for both teams.

First chance came the way of the visitors as Begovic having to tip a Healey header from a Thomas corner.

American Full-Back Reegan Cannon had to be substituted with an injury, replaced by Andrew Drewe.

Sinclair Armstrong in the 43rd minute shot over from a tight angle after a nice touch to get away from the Huddersfield defenders.

That was half time, a very stop start half that lacked any sort of quality in the final third , lack of chances from both teams and why QPR and Huddersfield are where they are in the championship table.

46th minute, a huge scramble from a Thomas corner, Begovic doesn’t collect and the ball found it’s way to Helik who heads the ball across the face of goal but there was no Huddersfield player there to tap home.

52nd Minute, Thomas broke down the left and found Rudoni who’s shot was blocked for a Huddersfield corner.

Micheal Helik had a massive chance for Town, heading over from a Thomas corner and he probably should of done better, albeit the pressure from the QPR defenders around him.

Chris Willock and Lydon Dykes came off were replaced by Dixon Bonner and Paul Smith with Marti Cifuentes wanting to stop the huddersifled pressure in the second half.

Micheal Helik had to be replaced with an injury he picked up following a collision with Paul Smith in the Huddersfield box and January Signing Balker replacing Helik.

75th minute, Huddersfield give the ball away, Dixon Bonner fired just wide, a let off for Darren Moore’s side.

77th minute, a Sorba Thomas cross found Radulovic who’s header is goal bound but tipped over by Begovic.

86th minute, a massive goal for Huddersfield, Balker with a shot and it deflected to Rudoni and he finished brilliantly .

A brilliant response from QPR, Illias Chair with a ball into the box but Armstrong could only fire over, a massive chance that for the home side.

Albert Adomah and Sam Fox came on for the home side, looking for an equalizer.

Seven minutes were added.

in the 93rd minute delight for QPR as Illias Chair rescued a massive point for QPR, Huddersfied so close to a massive win but on reflection a point was a fair result.
