Four arrests made after Stanningley Bypass hit and run

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and another has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender after a 25-year-old man was killed on Stanningley Bypass.

A £10 million Park & Ride system is planned for Leeds following the success of a similar site at Elland road.
Tomorrow, plans for developing the one-thousand space Temple Green Park & Ride site, adjacent to the A63 Pontefract Lane will be discussed in front of the council cabinet.

Breast cancer: lumps are not the only symptom, say campaigners
Women in Leeds are being urged to be aware of breast cancer symptoms in a campaign launched today by Public Health England (PHE).
Almost two-hundred women aged seventy and over in Leeds are diagnosed with breast cancer each year; last year more than five-hundred women in Yorkshire and the Humber died of breast cancer, according to PHE Leeds.
