Robbers hit man over head in his Dewsbury home

Robbers sneaked into a Dewsbury home, hit the 29-year-old occupant in the head and stole two mobile phones.

The two men entered the house in School Crescent at around 12.30am on Friday.

The first man is described as white, aged between 30 and 35-years-old, around 5ft 8ins tall, of stocky/muscular build, with short, neat blond hair which appeared freshly cut and styled in to a side parting.

The second is described as being tanned or mixed race, aged between 25 to 30-years-old, around 6ft tall, of slim build. He was wearing a dark zip-up hooded top with the hood up and pulled tight around his face.

Detective Constable Richard Brooke said: “This incident is being treated as a targeted attack; however as part of our ongoing enquiries we are seeking the public’s help in identifying the two men responsible.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who saw men matching the suspects’ descriptions in the School Crescent area of Dewsbury Moor around the time of the offence. Anyone with information which could help our enquiries is asked to call Kirklees Robbery Team on 101.”
