By Kelly Woodward

A man who died after being found unconscious after a night out in Batley has been named by police as 22-year-old Jordan Jubb.

The father-of-two had been to the TBC nightclub in Bradford Road, Batley, earlier on Saturday night.

West Yorkshire Police are warning about the dangers of drug abuse as they found a 24-year-old man who had also collapsed in Bradford Road in the early hours of Sunday morning and a third man, aged 19, went to hospital and has now been discharged.

Detective Inspector Steph Wiseman, Kirklees District CID said: “At this stage we are unable to establish what these males have taken, however, we can say that all three presented with overdose symptoms and, tragically, one young man has lost his life.”

Tributes to Mr Jubb, who lived in Batley, have been paid on social media.

A Facebook post from Zaf Choix said: “Shocked to hear Jordan Jubb has passed away … my condolences to the family.”

Another said: “You were a lovely cheeky lad, a proper mans man who has been taken from the family far too soon, loved n missed already by us all, good night, god bless … lots of love always from uncle Paul Mayman xxx”
