West Yorkshire Police appealing for witnesses after boys threatened by man wielding knife

Police have made a public appeal for witnesses to come forward after two boys were threatened with a knife in Bradford’s Peel Park at 4.55pm last Saturday.

In the following altercation the man threatened the boys, aged 14 and 15, and grabbed one of the victim’s mobile phones before he ran away down Otley Road.

He is described as being 5ft 6ins tall; having a spotty complexion, green eyes and was wearing a black Adidas puffer jacket with a gold logo and gold stripes down the arms and jeans at the time of the robbery.

Detective Inspector Alan Flynn, of Bradford District CID, is appealing for anyone who may have seen the altercation to come forward with information.

“We believe that someone will have seen this man as he ran off towards Otley Road, and I would ask anyone with any information to contact DC 3312 Singleton at Bradford District CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
