Webb Ellis Cup heading to Leeds ahead of Rugby World Cup

With less than two months to go excitement is building ahead of the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

The event will see two group games being held at Leeds United’s Elland Road ground – Italy v Canada on Saturday, September 26th and Scotland v USA the following day.

To build anticipation the Webb Ellis Cup, which is presenting to the competition’s winning team, will be spending three days in Leeds next month.

If you want to see the trophy it will be at Headingly Carnegie Stadium at 9am on Thursday, August 6th.

The following day it will be at Leeds Trinity University at 9am, Leeds Central Library at noon and West Park in Leeds at 6pm.

The tour will round-off with visits to Elland Road at 9am, Trinity Leeds Shopping Centre at noon, Armley Park at 3pm and Leeds Dock at 5pm on Sunday, August 8th.
