A 10-YEAR-OLD girl is gearing up to cycle 127 miles from Leeds to Liverpool in memory of her dad, who died of cancer.

Harriet Williams, of Victoria Mount, Horsforth, is undertaking the canal challenge alongside her mother, Heather, in late September.

It will raise funds for the Bexley Wing cancer ward in St James’ Hospital, Leeds, where her dad Hylton, 38, was treated prior to his death from lymphoma in 2012.

The mother and daughter have already raised £3,500 for the hospital in the past.
