Welcome to Yorkshire chief executive Sir Gary Verity hopes to expand the Tour de Yorkshire to a four day event. It comes after the success of this weekend’s race which saw over two million people come out to cheer on the cyclists. The successful three day event brought the country’s focus to Yorkshire and it’s hoped the legacy of le Tour will be long lived.
