Staff and students at Leeds Trinity University have taken part in a Christmas-themed fun run to raise money for charity.
The runners turned up in festive outfits and were given Santa hats to wear as they ran the 5km course beginning and ending with a lap on the university’s running track.
The first runner to cross the finish line was Jack Mucklin, a third year Secondary PE and Sports Coaching student.
The event aimed to raise money for the university’s Inspiring Futures programme, which supports students developing their own business, competing in sport or looking to study abroad.
