Police appeal for help to trace Moortown man

POLICE HAVE launched a hunt for a man after a vicious attack in Leeds left a man blind.

Leeds District CID want to trace Benjamin Kendal, 29, from Moortown, in connection with a serious assault on a 37-year-old man in Hunslet, on June 4.

The victim has lost sight in one eye as a result of the attack.

Officers have been unable to trace Kendal despite extensive enquires. It is believed that he may have grown a beard since the incident.
