MK Dons have strange record of being best away club yet worst at home

League One: MK Dons v Bristol Rovers:

By Andy Smith

Karl Robinson’s MK Dons will look to win their first home game of the season as Bristol Rovers visit Stadium MK. MK Dons have had mixed fortunes this season, as the best away club in League One yet the worst at home.

Robinson told BBC Three Counties Radio: “If you were to speak to the most hardened fan, they would agree that we deserve so much more than we have got so far this year. There’s only one way of getting out of this rut and we’ve got to try and put it right over the next two games. If we don’t, it’s going to be hard, but we have to get it right.”

MK Dons will not be able to call upon the suspended Joe Walsh and Darren Potter, as both received their fifth yellow cards of the season. Jack Hendry, a loan signing from Wigan, is set to replace Walsh in the starting XI. Ed Upson is available again for selection after returning from suspension.

Rovers First Team Coach Steve Yates, told BRFC TV: “They (MK Dons) are a good team, they play good football, they’re going to be well organised, we’re expecting a very tough game, we’ve got to put in the effort that we have in the previous matches.”

Darrell Clarke has an almost complete compliment of players to pick from for the trip. Jermaine Easter, who previously played for MK Dons, is out as he finishes his suspension for a sending off against Sheffield United.
