A 53-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Bridlington landlady Bei Carter
John Heald, from Rotheram, appeared at Beverley Magistrates Court today where he was charged with the murder of Ms Carter earlier this month.
He is also accused of ten separate counts of rape in South Yorkshire on July 13.
The 49-year-old landlady was found stabbed to death at a guesthouse, on Marshall Avenue, Bridlington on Friday July 18.
Mr Heald was remanded in custody and will appear at Hull Crown Court at 10am on Friday, August 1.
