The M62 has now reopened but is still experiencing delays following an accident this afternoon.
Commuters faced traffic blockages after an collision involving a van and a car. An air ambulance was reported to have landed on the Eastbound carriageway.
Police have confirmed that both the Westbound and Eastbound carriageway is fully open between junctions 33-34.
