Local DJ Matt Williams aka ‘SteezIsKey’ has set his mind on re-igniting the UK garage scene in Headingley. The music genre originated in the 1990’s but has been making a steady comeback for the past three years. Williams felt disheartened by the lack of events or spaces that revolve around the UKG genre and wanted to fill the gap in the market. Today he runs a regular open decks with his own organisation Inside The Place Events (ITP).
