Parts of ongoing developments in Leeds train station have been completed including a gold roof, re-located barriers and an open street front prompting commuters to share their criticism on Twitter.
A major talking point has been the gold roof, which some see as unnecessary.
Though other users do seem to like this feature.
Other Twitter users have highlighted what they see as the impracticality of the design – the open front and re-located barriers having been intended to reduce congestion.
Some have reacted positively to the developments.
Development are ongoing and Network Rail have announced that work on the creation of a new platform – platform zero, which will aim to improve service punctuality – may affect train services on the weekend October 26 and 27 October.
