England have lost their place in the Euros this year after a 2-1 loss to the Czech republic on Friday.
This will be the first time in 10 years the team has lost a qualifying match, and impressive 44 games ago.
Despite high hopes after an early penalty from Kane at 5 minutes, England struggled to break through the Czech’s rearguard formation in the second half.
The loss eventually came to an 85th minute goal from Zdenek Ondrasek, who was making his debut for the team at the age of 30.
Fans took to Twitter over the weekend to voice their disappointment.
In a positive spin to this frustrating match, Harry Kane managed to equal Frank Lampard’s record with this, his 27th penalty for England.
