Leeds United completed their sixth summer signing today, securing the signature of former Chelsea and England youth international Ross Turnbull from Barnsley.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper began his career at Middlesbrough before joining Chelsea in 2009 where he won FA Cup, UEFA Cup and Champions League winner’s medals.

Turnbull is expected to provide backup to Marco Silvestri who impressed in his first season at Elland Road last year.

Turnbull has signed a two-year deal.
