The Slide the City event scheduled for this Saturday at Roundhay Park has been postponed due to safety concerns.
Organisers said, via Facebook: “We are notifying you because, regretfully the Leeds Slide the City event scheduled for 25 July at Roundhay Park will have to be POSTPONED to a future (TBD) date.
“There are a lot of factors that come into play for an event of this nature and safety is our number one concern.”
Anyone who had bought tickets for the event should have their money refunded within the next ten days.
Organisers are hoping to reschedule the event for a later date.
