Who let the dogs out? Dogs take to Twitter to howl about Brexit

By Alice Young

The nation has voiced its opinions on Brexit since the announcement of the referendum – but now man’s best friend is taking to Twitter to speak up about politics.

Dog owners across Europe are sharing photos of their furry friends in a bid to lighten the mood on an issue sparking divide across the public.

Isla is particularly worried about how Brexit will affect the Good Friday Agreement.

Dora and Bear are more concerned about their international travel after Brexit takes place.

Luke and Peaches are also speaking up about the divorce from other countries – in particular, their European cousins.

Whilst some Twitter users say dogs should not and cannot voice their political views, it appears the social media trend is appealing to others.

Government officials have been warned – Teg takes to Twitter to voice her negative views despite this being out of character.
