Extinction Rebellion are continuing their protests throughout London as they attempt to force the government to prioritise environmental issues.
Roads outside the Bank of England have been blocked off by the protesters, who have chosen the day of the Queen’s Speech to again highlight the growing need for action.
However, some have taken to Twitter to voice their concerns over the disturbances caused by the protest (with a warning of strong language):

This is not the first time that Extinction Rebellion have held protests in the UK, with demonstrations having previously been held in Leeds and across other cities in the UK.
