Yorkshire gets a taste of pioneering arts at culture festival

RECON festival will be hosting creative talent from across the globe later this month.

Bradford will be treated to punk-poets, folk musicians and film directors when the RECON festival arrives at venues across the city, later this month

The festival will bring some of the world’s leading artists to West Yorkshire, some of whom have had their work featured at the Tate Modern and other leading art installations.

Director Anand Patwardhan and musician King Ayisoba Protagfest, will be some of the notable acts and events which will be held in Bradford over the course of the twelve day festival.

Venues that will host artists include The University of Bradford, The 1 in 12 Club and Fuse Art Space.

The festival will run from Thursday, September 18th, to Monday, September 29th at various sites across the city. For more information visit RECON festival’s official website: http://reconfest.co.uk/
