Artist’s impression of the extra care homes at Yeadon
The council are building new extra care apartments in Yeadon, and they need suggestions for a name.
The 45 apartments on Chapel Lane are being built with older people with higher care needs in mind. They are due to completed in 2016.
The chosen name will be announced in the autumn, with the person who suggested the name winning a hamper and chance to attend the official opening ceremony in 2016.
People can submit their suggestions to sheltered.services.team@leeds.gov.uk or @BetterLivesLDS or @HousingLeeds.
The deadline for suggestions is July 31.
