Adam Peaty, Olympic gold medallist and father of a one-year-old boy, has been paired with Katya Jones for Strictly Come Dancing.
Katya was caught in a cheating scandal in 2018 with then partner Seann Walsh.
However, some people feel that Katya has been the subject of unfair online abuse.
Even Adam’s girlfriend has weighed in on the rumours, making light of the situation on TikTok.
Adam has since posted his own statement regarding the matter, stating that he “will not be overcome… by gossip”.
Adam and Katya were the first couple announced through to Week 5 of Strictly Come Dancing which airs on Saturday 30 October at 7:05pm.
