Steampunk is a fashion inspired by the industrial revolution angled from the ‘futuristic’ Victorian lens.
This is reflected through the clockwork, cogs and goggles accessorising their clothing.
It was well suited to the Victorian cobble-stoned town, with activities including ‘tea duelling’- who could dunk their biscuit into tea and keep it intact the longest.
Michael Young, an organiser of the seven-year running event said that tea duelling is: “Best played with malted milk biscuits”.

The mid-October festival included burlesque, fashion and music shows, starring burlesque stars Trixie Blue and Mr Rock Hart, Vintage vehicles and a masquerade ball.
The event was in aid of raising money for the Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice in Oxenhope, near Keighley, and last year raised more than £5,000.
