Tough new penalties for drivers caught speeding came into place yesterday. Motorists caught going too fast could now have to pay a much larger percentage of their weekly wage. So that means if you earn five hundred pounds a week and were caught doing fifty one miles an hour in a thirty zone you would have to pay seven hundred and fifty pounds fine. Abi Bates reports.
