Sheffield United’s Billy Sharp can hit the 200 career goals milestone at Swindon Town as the Blades eye up their 22nd league victory this year.
Sharp is just two away from the target for the team he has supported since his childhood. He has had three spells at the Blades, scoring 55 league goals, and is also top scorer in League One this season.
The Blades front man was also named League One player of the month in February.

Sharp can improve on his best season to date if he carries on this form, previously scoring 32 times in 50 appearances for Scunthorpe United in 2006-07.
Sharp said to the Sheffield Star: “Of course, if I could have chosen any club to do it at (reach 200 goals) then this is it, I made it pretty clear recently that, even if I don’t score another goal and we get promoted, I’d be over-the-moon. Seriously, I’ll be delighted. But I’ll be trying my best to get there against Swindon.”

Swindon Town could be a perfect opportunity for the centre forward to net the two goals needed. United are currently eight points clear at the top, as Swindon are currently struggling for results, down in 22nd, with just two wins in their last 10.
However, Swindon’s centre midfielder, the Chelsea loanee Charlie Colkett, is confident the Robins can get a result against the league leaders.

A Swindon win at the County Ground may give them the confidence to battle their way out of the relegation battle they are currently facing. But against a team that has only lost six league games all season, it’s a tall order.
