Concern is growing for the welfare of a 38-year-old man who has been reported missing from his home in Leeds.

Andrew Macsparren’s last contact with his family was on July 13 when he sent a text message to his brother.

Detective Chief Inspector Lisa Atkinson, of Leeds District CID, said: “This is completely out of character for Andrew and is of concern to both the police and his family.

“Andrew has links to Rochdale and Liverpool and it is possible he may have travelled to one of these areas.

“I would urge anyone who has seen a man matching his description or who has information about his whereabouts to call Leeds CID on 101 as a matter of urgency.

“Similarly, I would urge Andrew himself to make contact with either the police or his family to confirm that he is safe and well.”
He is described as being 6ft 1ins tall, medium build, with short brown hair and usually wears casual, smart clothes.
