Police appeal after Bradford man hit by car

Police are appealing for witnesses after a car collided with a 61 year-old man in Bradford, seriously injuring him.

He was taken to hospital with leg and head injuries and remains there today in a stable condition.

The incident, involving a grey Toyota Auris, happened at about 1.55pm on Saturday, July 25 at the junction of Toller Lane and Fairfield Road. The car was travelling towards Whetley Hill.

The 33-year-old male driver of the Auris was uninjured and was spoken to by police at the scene.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact PC 3353 Day at the Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support team on 101.
