Leeds University Union is to begin the distribution of drug testing kits following the referendum result.

A recent referendum held at the University of Leeds to provide students with drug testing kits has been passed, with 95% of students voting in favour of the motion.

The kits prove the purity of drugs, and are not used to test whether students have taken drugs.

Amy Wells, Welfare Officer at Leeds University Union, said: “It was a very good result, we’re very pleased.”
