The Headingley Club has been struggling to attract customers

The Headingley Club on St. Michael’s Road, has issued an appeal on Twitter after seeing a low number of customers pass through its doors recently.
The club, which used to be members only and is now open to the public, is running promotions such as free snooker after 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Elaine Boothman, bar staff at the club, said: “We do have quite a good membership, but we never see the members themselves.”
