Leeds United U23 vs Blackburn Rovers U23

The last time the Peacocks and Rovers came head-to-head it ended in a thrilling 4-4 draw.  

The whites sit in 12th in Premier League 2 division 1 whereas Rovers sit four points behind them at the foot of the table. 

For rovers, the second game is vengeance match because they did not get the three points last time plus they are bottom of the league they have no chance but they a get win by any means in this match up.  

Looking at both sides previous two games the peacocks are confident since they beat Wigan Athletics (1-2) and Derby County (2-0) the man of the match in both games was Amari Miller who tormented full backs with his acceleration and ball control.  

With loads of injuries in the first team it gave eight youngsters the chance to experience Premier League football, Crysencio Summerville, Charlie Cresswell, Joe Gelhardt, Cody Drameh, Stuart Mckinstry, Sam Greenwood, Lewis Bate and Leo Hjelde. Unfortunately, two players to keep eyes on are not on that list which is Amar Miller and Nohan Kenneh who has been pivotal in the U23 team.  

But for Blackburn Rovers they lost (3-5) to Manchester City and drew (1-1) with Tottenham Hotspurs which is not positive results going into this game. Their top-scorer this season is Sam Burn who is an important asset in this team he is also someone to watch. 

In their previous encounter it ended in a draw which saw loads of goals from both teams, but it was frustrating because a game of that atmosphere it came to a stalemate. The Leeds scorers were Joe Gelhardt who scored twice, Max Dean and Charlie Allen. Blackburn’s goal scorers were Sam Burns who finished twice, Jared Harlock and Luke Brennan.
