Leeds’ three legged pooch has found love at last

The RSPCA Dog of the Month has found a home after a year long wait

A three legged dog that has been with the RSPCA for more than a year is close to securing herself a home.

Two-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Misha came to the Leeds and Wakefield RSPCA branch in Tingley after being rescued from an abusive home.

Misha has received ‘a lot of interest’ during her time with the RSPCA, but unfortunately has been unable to find a suitable home until now.

She still needs training to deal with strangers after coming from an environment that put her life at risk at such a young age, but her trainer, Lauren Moore, 27, insists she’s a ‘wonderful’ dog when she gets over meeting new people.
