Katy Rickitt reporting on the Cannes Film Festival

Leeds Trinity University alumna Katy Rickitt, who is the news correspondent for Good Morning Britain, will return to the university next Monday for Journalism and Media week.
Katy will give a talk about the unexpected travelling around the country which comes with her job.

However, this is not the only country which Katy has travelled round for work but she has also been to Malia to investigate the safety of teenagers abroad and Cyprus to report first-hand the collapse of the banking system.
Katy will discuss living out of last-minute hotels which she has had to do throughout her role at Good Morning Britain since landing the job in 2012.
She will show her best bits showreel from her time at ITV throughout her professional career and explain how she got into the industry.
Katy’s talk Bed-Hopping: Life on the Road with GMB’s Katy Rickitt is on Monday November 4 at 3:00pm at Leeds Trinity University, Horsforth.
