Fast food fury as union’s take to the streets

By Alex Rhodes.

Fast food workers have been protesting in Bradford against zero hour contracts.

The campaigners backed by the Baker’s, Food and Allied Workers Union, made their voices heard for over an hour outside a fast food restaurant on Kirkgate.

They claim over three thousand people have already signed their petition to end contracts they regard as exploitative.

The group is also demanding a living wage of ten pounds an hour.
