Two pubs in Bradford have made the cut in a new a CAMRA guide.
The New Beehive in Westgate and the Cock and Bottle in Barkerend both placed in the Campaign for Real Ale’s guide to hostelries with historic significance in Yorkshire and the Humber.
Despite being described as “a Victorian gem” in the guide, the Cock and Bottle has been closed for over three years but there are plans to renovate the grade II listed building in the next few months.

The New Beehive was renovated just last year but stayed true to its Edwardian heritage- even keeping the traditional gas lighting.
It is hoped the Beehive’s inclusion in the guide will only serve to increase its popularity.
