League One: Chesterfield v Fleetwood
By Jamie Woodhouse
Both Chesterfield and Fleetwood Town are looking to find form again as they meet at the Proact Stadium in this League One clash.
The Spireites are without a victory in their last four matches, picking up just one point out of a possible twelve.
Fleetwood meanwhile sit 13th in the table. Uwe Rosler’s side have only won one of their last four matches in the league including a 2-0 victory over Peterborough United in their last match.
Rosler told FleetwoodTownfc.com that he hopes to create “a top six mentality” ahead of their trip to Chesterfield.
“I think for us it is important for us to get in some sort of stability. Hopefully step-by-step we will create a top six mentality,” said Rosler.
Speaking to Chesterfield-fc.co.uk, manager Danny Wilson said: “Look at Fleetwood – three points for them has given them a different outlook in the league. We know that between the teams in this league – and I take even the ones who are at the top – there’s nothing between them.”
“They’re a good footballing side. They’re bright, they had a good win at the weekend, but their season’s been very similar to ours up until the weekend. They’ll come with a bit of confidence, but only as much as any club that comes here.”
Spireites Press Officer Nick Johnson confirms that striker Conor Wilkinson may miss the match after telling his manager he picked up a knock in the Southend match.
Aaron Amadi-Holloway is unavailable for Fleetwood with a hamstring injury.
Striker Chris Long will be assessed before kick-off after picking up a knock against Peterborough.
