Riot police were forced to separate fans at the end of Leeds United’s pre-season friendly with Eintracht Frankfurt after trouble broke out between supporters.
Local police reported that 20 arrests – of both Leeds and Frankfurt fans – were made following the match in Salzburg which ended in a 2-1 victory for the German Bundesliga side.

Leeds United will kick off their preseason tour of Austria and Norway tonight with a match against Bundesliga outfit Eintract Frankfurt in Salzburg.
New signing Chris Wood is still out with a hamstring injury but should be fit for Saturday’s fixture against TSG Hoffenheim.

Former Leeds United head coach Neil Redfearn has left his role at Leeds United’s academy, saying that the club have made his position ‘untenable’.
In a statement Redfearn said: “It is with great sadness that I am resigning from my employment at Leeds United with immediate effect.
