Preview: Huddersfield v Sheffield Wednesday
By Jack Simpson
Huddersfield play Sheffield Wednesday in the first Yorkshire derby between the two sides this season in the Championship.
The Terriers are in fine form, having lost only two games so far this season and sit at the top of the table with 25 points.
The Owls meanwhile have won three of the last five games and currently sit 9th in the table with 17 points.
Huddersfield manager David Wagner has a fully fit squad to choose from and is likely to stick with the same team that beat Ipswich 1-0 at Portman Road at the start of October.
Sheffield Wednesday manager Carlos Carvalhal also has a fully fit squad to choose from, however the Portuguese man is likely to check his squad’s fitness following the international break.
The Owls will be looking to get back to winning ways following their 2-1 defeat at home to Brighton before the international break.
Huddersfield will look to Nahki Wells – the Bermudan may have only scored two goals this season but the forward has the ability to cause any defence problems, with his pace, trickery and the ability to finish.
For Sheffield Wednesday, the player fans should look out for is Fernando Forestieri. The Italian has two goals and two assists to his name this season and is looking to continue his good form.
