Bradford’s Alhambra Theatre Brings Pinocchio To Life This Christmas

Yorkshire pantomime legend Billy Pearce is returning to Bradford’s Alhambra Theatre to star in ‘Pinocchio’.

Pantomimes are one of the most treasured family events of the festive season. This year, the Alhambra Theatre is set to dazzle audiences with a brand new production of Pinocchio.

Running from the 7th December to the 19th January, this spectacular show promises to be packed full of laughter, music and festive fun for the whole family – something Bradford audiences have come to expect from their annual Christmas production.

Bringing the beloved fairytale to the stage for the first time ever, the show follows the adventures of the little wooden puppet, Pinocchio, as he dreams of becoming a real boy.

With catchy songs, extravagant costumes, fantastic special effects and plenty of audience participation, this show is set to be a real highlight of the Christmas season.

Pinocchio is being produced by Crossroads Pantomimes, the world’s biggest pantomime producer. Chief Executive of Crossroads Pantomimes, Michael Harrison, said: “My new production of Pinocchio debuted in Newcastle last Christmas, receiving rave reviews.”

Leading the cast is Bradford’s very own pantomime legend, Billy Pearce, who returns to the Alhambra stage for his 24th year to play the puppet’s creator, Geppetto.
