Clare Hewitt’s Everything in the forest is the forest was created for Bradford City of Culture 2025 and is currently touring at Scunthorpe 2021 Visual Arts Centre.
The exhibition consists of 14 bodies of work exploring what society can learn from trees as they communicate, nurture and sustain communities.
Hewitt, worked within a circle of 12 oak trees to observe the forest and document its seasonal changes. She used sustainable methods to create the artworks including handmade bird box pinhole cameras.
