Bradford Bulls signing Clough ready to fight for promotion

Paul Clough

Front-rower Paul Clough said he is ready to fight for every point and return the Bulls to the Super League next season after signing a two-year deal with the club.

Clough has made over 200 Super League appearances for St Helens and Widnes Vikings and was unveiled to Bulls supporters at last week’s Evening with the Bulls.

The Two-time Challenge Cup winner said he was delighted to sign a two-year-deal with the Bulls and was well aware of the challenges ahead to return the Bulls to the Super League next season.

He said: “I am very pleased to have signed for Bradford and am looking forward to the challenges ahead

“I was a young St Helens fan when Bradford was lifting all the trophies. It was a fortress and that is what we need it to become again.

“The club has lost its way a little in recent years, but the new board of directors have certainly stabilised things.

“The Bulls are back on the up and an extremely strong squad has been put together for next season.

“It is going to take a massive amount of hard work but I fully believe the team will be capable of mixing it with those Super League clubs come the end of the season.

“Bradford is still a massive club and there will be teams trying to knock us off our perch next year. We will just need to stick together and fight for every single point.”
