Yorkshires Travellers Left Stranded Due to Train Unreliability

Over the past couple of weeks, travellers all around the country have been getting stuck at different stations for hours due to unreliable trains and it is ruining people’s lives.

If the tickets aren’t extortionately priced they are then getting cancelled because of flooding, heavy rain and strikes.

With heavy rain and strong winds in West and North Yorkshire many trainlines have been flooded leaving commuters stranded and waiting for their next available trains.

Flooding at Kirkstall in Leeds meant many rail lines were unusable causing trains between Leeds and Shipley; Leeds and Ilkley and trains through to York and Harrogate all being cancelled and delayed.

Routes between Skipton and Bradford Forster Square were also unable to run.

Unpredictable trains and overpriced tickets have been big worries for travellers in the UK throughout the past month. So plan ahead of your journeys, its bound to be hard for commuters this Christmas.
