A popular male choir will take over Leeds Civic Hall next month for a special performance.

Stteton Male Voice Choir will be performing in the Leeds Civic Hall Banquet Hall on April 12 in aid of the Charity LOFFTY Appeal.

The LOFFTY project, which stands for Leeds Offers Fun for the Young, raises funds to provide fun activities for children in the city during school holidays and weekends.

The Lord Mayor of Leeds, Councillor Thomas Murray said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming the Steeton Male Voice Choir to Leeds Civic hall’s Banquet Hall next month, in what promises to be a fantastic night of entertainment.

“In aid of our Charity LOFFTY Appeal, this is a great opportunity to not only have a great time listening to a brilliant choir in the beautiful Banquet Hall but also to support a very worthy cause.”

The Steeton Male Voice Choir were the acclaimed winners of the Choirs Rock event in 2013.

The concert will be held at 7.30pm on April 12.
